Courses: Theory in the classroom and practice in the truffle grounds

Infotourist has studied an innovative, eco-compatible offer directed toward the fruition of an extremely rich environmental patrimony,
aimed for enthusiasts of all levels and nationalities. Lessons will be held both in Italian and other languages (upon request)
in the Park classroom by professors from the Department of Applied Biology of the University of Perugia and expert truffle
collector. Participants will get the answers to thousands of questions about truffles, on the main species, biological cycle, on the
environment in which they grow and their value through history. Practical lessons will follow with visits and collections with dogs
in the natural and cultivated truffle grounds.

Half dayProgramme: 2 hours of theoretical study of truffles with an expert professor from the University of Perugia + practice in the truffle grounds. Dates: once per month during the 2009 season (Saturday afternoon). Eight daysProgramme: 30 hours of theoretical study in the classroom with participation from professors with ten years of specialised scientific research from the University of Perugia.
